Wraparound is a multipurpose cord wrap designed by Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis. Inspired by the mess of cables commonly found in offices, this innovative design aims to simplify cable management and enhance organization.

What sets Wraparound apart from other cord wraps is its compatibility with all notebooks. It allows users to unplug and pack up quickly without having to untangle a mess the next time they set up. The sleek silicone cover keeps unsightly cords concealed, adding a touch of elegance to any workspace.

One of the key strengths of Wraparound is its versatility. Not only does it prevent the coil of the cable from being forced and experiencing unnecessary strain, but it also keeps the cables clean and free from dirt. The unique design allows it to be folded in half and wrapped around the cable adapter, providing a secure and compact solution.

But Wraparound doesn't stop at cord management. Its corrugated structure offers additional functionality. Users can place pens, pencils, mobile phone chargers, earphones, and other small items between its corrugations, turning it into a convenient multipurpose organizer.

The realization of Wraparound involves the use of injected silicone, ensuring durability and flexibility. With its compact dimensions of 135mm width, 50mm depth, and 18mm height, it is portable and can be carried anywhere.

The design process for Wraparound involved extensive research to ensure its uniqueness and functionality. Market research was conducted to identify existing products and understand how they interact with users and their environment. Overcoming the challenge of creating a multipurpose product that goes beyond cord management was a significant achievement for the design team.

Wraparound was designed in July 2014 in Ankara, Turkey, by the talented team at Designnobis. Its innovative design and practicality have earned it recognition in the form of the prestigious A' Design Award. In 2015, Wraparound was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Art and Stationery Supplies Design category. This award is a testament to the outstanding expertise, innovation, and excellence demonstrated by Wraparound.
